The Weirdest Flight Of Your Life

I hid under my dark sunglasses, hands full of baggage with my plane ticket in my mouth. "Firfst lass pease," I spat out as the air hostess took the ticket, tore off the corner and put it back in my mouth again, giving me an odd look. "Erm... upstairs please, madam," she pointed up some twisting wooden stairs where there was a security guard who checked my tickets again at the bottom. I heaved my bags up, dumped them on the floor, sat down on the nearest seat and let out a huge sigh of relief. Now it was only 3 and a half hours until I got off in sunny , and could relax on the beach, no paparazzi, press, or people wanting my autograph. Heaven.

"Hey, you want me to help you put some of your bags in the overhead storage bit?" there were a guy sat next to me that I hadn't actually noticed, who had gelled hair, and the trademark grin that only one guy could do. . "Uhh... yeah... thanks... just these bags though, not the white one!" I quickly snapped out from my daydream as he picked up the small white box. He gave it me back with a little frown, but carried on putting the other bags in the overhead compartment regardless. I couldn't believe it - I was finally meeting him! You know how everyone has at least one celebrity crush? Mine was . Always had been, and probably will be for a long time. I'd only just got a recording contract and I'd released my first single. It went straight to number 1 in the charts, and since then I've had the press following me nonstop. I'd had to get away so I booked a last minute flight to for a weeks holiday, first class so they'd be no fans screaming all over me, just me and probably a few business people. "Well, I'm , nice to meet you. I'm guessing your by any chance?" he sat back in his seat, and fastened his seat belt as the light flashed above out heads that we were going to be taking off. "Yeah, I am," I giggled as I did the same. Suddenly, I heard a clicking noise coming from behind me, "did you hear that?" "A click? Yeah, I thought it was probably just my seat or something," Great, he's going to think I'm a right weirdo, first snapping at him about my white box, and now I'm getting paranoid about a clicking noise, "Are you nervous about flying? Cause my sister is, and it usually helps if you take your mind off the thought of being in a plane," he grinned at me. I wasn't scared of flying, I'd been on a plane loads of times, but I liked the thought of taking care of me so I went along with it.

We talked for most of the flight, and there were bits where we both caught each other's eye contact for a few seconds. "What the hell... I swear I just felt something furry go past my legs...;" he was looking around and lifting his feet up. Oh god... not ... I quickly unfastened my seatbelt and crouched on the floor. She was laid under my seat meowing at me and looking up with big soft eyes. "Aww , you have to get back in your box! Cats aren't allowed up here," I tried coaxing her back into the box but she wouldn't budge. "?! Who's ?" 's head appeared next to mine as he crouched peering under the seats, "How'd you get that on a plane!?" he laughed, picked her up and placed her on his lap. "! Animals aren't allowed on here! They'll chuck her into the place where all the other animals are kept, and I've seen what they treat them like down there," I tried to grab her back, but she seemed to like and had sat herself on his lap, purring as he scratched her soft head. If she could, she'd stick her tongue out at me. "Don't worry, I'll make sure they don't," he gave me a mischievous smirk, and I smiled back, which was probably only a moment but seemed like it was about 5 minutes, when suddenly there were another click. "Look, , that definitely wasn't your chair. I swear it was coming from further behind us!" I frowned and looked around but I still didn't see anything. "I know what you mean now... but I can't see anything," he frowned too, and lifted off his lap, "Shall we put her back in the box for a bit and go and investigate?" I nodded in agreement, and let a man get past to go to the toilet, then walked down the aisle to the back. "Go in the toilet a minute, because everyone will start to get a bit suspicious," he whispered in my ear, his breath tickling me and making me giggle. After I'd been in the toilet, we headed back to our seat, seeing nothing. The man behind us was still not back from the toilet and had left his bag open on his seat. There were some weird looking things in it, so I reached out, grabbed it and hid it up my jumper. "Woah , what have you been eating when you were in the toilet?!" laughed as we sat down, and I took the bag from under my jumper, "Why have you got that mans bag?" "Look, there's a camera and all sorts in here..." I turned on the camera to see the pictures on it, and there were pictures of me and talking and smiling at each other from this flight. I rummaged in the bag again to find a pen and a small notebook. There was some messy handwriting in it, which said:

and : The New Couple Seen together on a flight on what could be a romantic holiday to , the new star of the charts seems to have found herself a celebrity boyfriend after only gaining stardom three weeks ago.

"What the on earth..." gasped, as he read the article, "it seems we're going to be having a romantic holiday together ," he smirked and raised his eyebrows at me cheekily. "Are we really, ?" I'd only been talking to him for three hours, and I was already treating him like my boyfriend. We leaned in to each other and his lips softly brushed against mine, when suddenly someone snatched the bag from my lap. "Excuse me, but I think you have some of my property," the man yelled at me, and grabbed my wrist tightly, pulling me up out of my seat. He smelt weirdly, and his eyes were faint like he wasn't quite there. "Get off her! You're the one taking pictures of people without them knowing, and by the smell of you, you've been taking some drugs. Come with me, , we'll get someone to sort this out," stood up and pushed him up against the wall, holding him by the scruff of his neck. He then took my hand and rushed us downstairs. "Are you okay?" soothed me and looked into my eyes. "Ye... yeah I think I'm okay, just a bit shocked," he held me in his arms for a while, before I realized it had gone deadly silent. I turned around to see the whole of the people in the downstairs of the plane staring at us, and then suddenly they all clapped, and awwed. This had officially been the weirdest day of my life.
