Halloween

"... I don't know about this..." frowned up at her cousin from underneath her tiara.
"They'll love you. Just walk around and mingle," winked at her, his glow-in-the-dark fangs shining in the moonlight, "I mean, who couldn't love an evil fairy princess?"
laughed, "Oh come on, you know what usually happens. I end up standing in a corner like I always do,"
"Well not tonight. Like I said, tonight, you start your new life. No one knows you here! And I'm sure you'll enjoy your blind date," smirked to himself and put her arm out in front of him to stop him from walking.
"Woah woah woah, hold it right there. Blind date? , you promised you wouldn't!" pleaded, but shook his head.
"Look at you! Your sister's makeover has done wonders with you. You look beautiful. I wouldn't be surprised if you got a few numbers tonight," grinned but still frowned.
"But he might be totally different! I've only seen two photographs, . For all I know, he could be the opposite of what I am! He could have a million girls on him by the time we get there," sighed and folded her arms, staring at the hard cold pavement. stroked her cheek.
"If I didn't know you, and I saw you tonight, I would jump at the chance to talk to you. I mean look at you! You look gorgeous!" caught sight of herself in a car mirror and saw how her sister had dyed her hair from to shining , clipped in some hair extensions, straightened it, and twisted her fringe into a neat quiff so she looked almost like . She'd also powdered her eyes with purple, blue and silver shadow and put a coat of mascara on. Her lips, wet from her lipbalm were shining in the lamp post light, and she grinned at her reflection.
"Lets do this," smiled at , twirling round in her pink and black netted dress and chunky Tuk heels. grabbed her hand, covered by some velvet black gloves and she skipped down the road.
"This is the I like to see!" chuckled as he opened his house door to be greeted with a Frankenstein.
"I vant to eat vour blood!" he gave a deep laugh.
"Dude, your Frankenstein, not a vampire," shoved the Frankenstein to the side where he tripped over and landed on the crates of beer.
"Oh yeah. And who's this pretty little lady?" he smiled at her and she held out a velvet glove.
"I'm ," she smiled back, expecting this to be her blind date.
"," he replied, grabbed the hand, and nearly making her topple over, pulled himself up from lying on the floor.
"Woooah! You must be ?" she heard a voice behind her and turned to see a guy with messed up hair, torn clothes with blood on them, and half a skateboard sticking out of his side.
"Umm no, 's cousin, ," she held out her velvet glove yet again.
"," he grinned. So this was him? she smiled inside, "I've heard a lot about you," he winked, "Want some punch? Here, I'll take you," she was shocked. She'd never been treated like this before. Just left in a corner usually, being the loser no one would talk to.
"Sooo... you're an evil fairy?" he smirked, mischievously, talking above the noise of the music and the people who were talking, crowding the rooms.
"I sure am," she smiled back, "And you're... a dead skateboarder?"
"Yeah, I had a nasty skateboarding accident. It went straight through me," he winked, making laugh. He made her feel important, like she was the prettiest girl in the room. She looked around, and noticed plenty of other girls that looked much prettier than her, but she thought he was the best looking guy in the room. Loads of girls were checking him out, waiting until he was free so they could approach him.
"So you're staying overnight I hear?" played with some ripped fabric on his t-shirt while she gulped down the punch.
"Yeah, 's house is huge! I'll have plenty of rooms to choose from," she smiled.
"Didn't he tell you? We all live here. Me, , and , who still hasn't come back from the shop yet..." scanned the room, "Oh there he is," leaned into , acting like he was trying to see round a wall, even though he could see well enough. He pointed over to a guy dressed as Superman carrying some shopping bags, "DUDE!" shouted, gesturing to come over, and rolled his eyes and struggled with the plastic bags, trying his hardest not to bang into everyone, "Come here, let me help you with that," offered . "You know how many kids I just got asking if they could try on my cape?!" He grumbled. passed him a bag to carry, but instead, took a beer out of the bag, "Cheers mate,". rolled his eyes again and waddled into the kitchen until they heard a loud thump on the kitchen table which acted as a signal to all the guys in the room as they stampeded to get their hands on a can.
"So do you know anyone here other than ?" asked, sipping the can and smiling at her. She scanned the room and looked at all the people she didn't know. Some were giving her disgusted looks from under their slutty outfits while they looked at with small smirks on their face, urging him to go over to them. She looked back at to shake her head, expecting him to be checking out all the other girls but he was still grinning at .
"Just because I'm 's cousin doesn't mean you have to look after me all night you know. You can go talk to the other girls too," smiled, even though she felt the opposite way. frowned.
"Am I that boring?" he grinned cheekily, leaning in towards her whenever he talked as if trying to hear her better, even though he could hear her perfectly well. She tried to hold back her smile but it shined through, "Wanna see my room?" he asked politely but the smiling stopped.
"No thanks," she said, looking down at the nearly empty glass of punch in her hand and then turned away to find .
"Oh wait, I didn't mean it like that!" shouted after her but she was walking quickly to the back garden to find . She walked to the dark corner of the garden, peering around the trees where small pumpkin lanterns lit the way.
"?" she called out and she saw a tall figure make their way over to her, "Oh , I wondered where you'd gone. Is it alright if I stop with you for a while? I'm not really getting on with ," she mumbled the last bit but then frowned when she looked up at the figure. Her cousin wasn't as tall as this. She saw the black shadow's arm appear and a hand come from the long black sleeves and it grabbed a strong grip on her wrist. She looked up to see a hooded figure with a scream mask on and it dragged her round to the darker area of the garden which was cold and muddy. She screamed and tried to push off his grip but he forcefully dragged her still. She could faintly see a skateboard at the lit up area of decking far away.
"!" she screamed but the other hand grasped around her mouth.
"Shut up," the mask spoke and she felt a cold feeling on her arm. she looked down to see a silver slither shine in the moonlight and recognised it to be a kitchen knife. She decided to be quiet.
"Now, you're going to go into the house, and you're going to help me out," the mask said. looked at it with wide eyes, "I want you to help me find the safe and you're going to tell me what the numbers are. Then you're going to help me find some valuables and put them all in my car," it said, muffled from behind the mask, "You're going to hold my hand and I want you to remember that I've got this knife. You can call me The Mask, ok ?" She shuddered as he said her name but sadly agreed anyway. The mask led her up the garden and to the patio. She saw waiting for her at the end and looked really happy to see her and then his smile drooped when he saw her hand holding onto The Masks'. She didn't smile at him, and she tried to use her eyes to urge him to see what was happening but she could feel the hand on the strangers squeeze on hers as a warning. He yanked her inside but frowned after them. He found round the corner with his collar up and nudged him.
"Dude!" he hissed and nodded his head towards a girl he was talking to.
", thought I wanted her to go into my bedroom so she went into the garden and then she came back holding hands with this guy in a Scream mask and she didn't look very happy but he took her inside and I think he was taking her upstairs," he said in one breath, adding the last bit to help tear away from the girl. It worked and ran inside, rushing up the stairs, following.
"I don't live here, I don't know the number, please just let me go," and heard quiet sobs coming from a far away room where the door was slightly ajar. They inched closer.
"What if he's a mass murderer?!" winced, making 's eyes grow wide. He looked around desperately for a weapon and ended up grabbing a plant pot, chucking out the dehydrated plant and holding it above his head, creeping closer to the door. tapped him on the shoulder.
"WHAT?" hissed.
"... I don't have a weapon," mumbled and grabbed a pair of scissors off the window sill and shoved it at him, "What am I meant to do with these, cut his hair?"
"No, slice his skin you idiot!" sighed and rolled his eyes. softly put his hand on the handle and slowly pushed the door open, placing his feet silently on the carpet. The door creaked loudly and the man with the mask holding a knife on 's back turned swiftly towards the door. He walked over to the door and quickly opened it, holding the knife in front of his face.
"Stay there," he said sternly to , and walked out of the room, shutting the door behind him.
"Oh shit, oh shit, oh shit," whispered to himself, "Great plan , shut us in the bathroom with someone's sick on the floor," he hissed as crouched on the floor, peering through the crack in the door and then flinched when he saw the knife-man's feet. The feet grew closer until they reached the bathroom door.
"He's there!" mouthed to , "I've got to get out of that room, she'll be terrified."
"Hide in the towel cupboard, I'll get out," looked at with a serious look but snorted.
", he's got a bloody knife! I know you want to be all macho and save her but seriously dude, you're probably more scared than she is," he laughed but pulled a face. There was a bang of a fist on the door.
"You're going to have to come out of there sooner or later," the voice rang from the other side of the white painted wood.
"Just get in the cupboard!" ordered.
"You really think I'm letting you go out there on your own?" raised his eyebrows and grabbed the shower head from the bath, "I'll take this, you take this rail," passed a long metal rail.
"Umm... the shower head's attached to the wall ," said pointing at the long cable that ran from the shower head to the wall.
"Well I'll take this then, just hurry up!" said, going slightly red in the face and grabbing a toilet brush. opened the door slightly and saw the masks face with the knife.
"Lovely to meet you, . I've heard that you've just been signed to Universal Records? Congratulations. I'm sure that they gave you a very big cheque to buy this house with," the voice said in a friendly tone, "So would you care to follow me and let me know what the code to your safe is please?" looked behind him to find but all he saw was an empty bathroom. He looked down at the rail in his hand and quickly lifted it over his head and brought it down on the masked man. He stood there with his mouth open, starring at the rail in his hand and then looked up to see peering round the door. The man was out cold. ran towards and jumped into a hug.
"Oh my god thanks so much," she whispered in his right ear, squeezing her arms around his neck. He rubbed her back and tried to say something but was still in shock that the weakling of the group had just knocked out a man who was threatening to knife him. He quickly bent down and took the knife out of the masked man's hand, remembering that he'd probably wake up and the whole thing would start again.
"Dude that was wicked! Like something from Star Wars but with a pole instead of a lightsaber," said, stepping out of the towel cupboard and patting him on the back.
"With no thanks to you," grumbled.
"Hey, let's take off the guys mask," said excitedly and pushed back the ghostly mask to reveal a chubby looking man, "Wait a minute, that's Steve!" said, pushing his face with his foot so they could see him better.
"Steve?" said, puzzled.
"He got fired for trying to steal some money from Universal. He was originally going to be our manager until he got found out," told holding a gaze in her eyes until he saw two heads bobbing around behind her, coming up the stairs.
"Found them!" said to behind him and they both wandered up the stairs.
"Why's Steve asleep on the floor?!" said with a frown on his forehead.
"And why are you carrying a knife?!" raised his eyebrow at .
"He just tried to force to tell him the code of the safe with this," tapped the knife on the wall and and both starred from the knife to Steve and then to the pole that was next to him with their mouths ajar.
"Will you drag him down the stairs?" asked them casually and then went over to and put his arms around her, "I'm so glad you're ok. You should take out somewhere to say thanks," he winked at her and blushed.
"Yeah, I will" she smiled at .

The story of Steve flew round the party guests like a fire and everyone was bugging for every detail of the incident.
" knocked the guy out with a pole, the end," she sighed, trying to get them all to move on, but they were still itching for more.
"Shall we go outside? Not to the bottom of the garden this time though," laughed, taking 's hand and leading her outside. They stood under a gazebo in the damp, cold October air.
"Why's that there?" frowned up at the mistletoe that was hanging from the roof of the gazebo.
"You tell me," giggled.
"Must have been left there since last Christmas," he looked down to see stood a few inches away from him. The mist from their breath was hitting each other's faces. He licked his lips quickly and gave a little laugh before they both closed their eyes and slowly inched their way closer until their lips touched. The skateboard coming from 's waist knocked softly on her waist and shivers shot down her spine. They both drew away slowly with a small smile on their faces and ran her fingers through his messed up hair.
"Did that bring you back to life?" she winked.
